I bought these swing arm clasps for the sole purpose of using them to close a leather sporran. I have to say I am very disappointed with these clasps. They were too small for the sporran I'm wearing. I should have taken a closer look at the size. At the same time, the quality of these latches is very low. While I didn't expect them to be solid brass, I did expect them to be solid. They are hollow at the back, which makes them very light. This also makes them feel and look very cheap. I don't even know what they can be used for. You are absolutely useless to me. I would not recommend these fasteners to anyone unless you are looking for a small, very light and cheap fastener. Buyer Warning.
