I have 3 monitors and an MSI Creator 15 laptop that should be able to drive them via the USB-C port. This hub does a great job on graphics work - I use all 3 ports and run 3 monitors at 1080 resolution (they are not 4k monitors) with no issues. The problem I'm having is that I'm using the headphone output on one of the monitors. HDMI. The hub's HDMI port is used to connect to this monitor and the sound comes through, but when playing audio (music, video, games) there is a hiss or crackle every few seconds. If I only use two DP ports on the hub and operate an HDMI monitor via the HDMI port of my laptop, the sound never crackles. While I can work around this issue as above, I have a hub to simplify/minimize what is connected to the laptop for better cable management. . Post this in case it helps someone else using a similar (stupid) setup.
