Review on πŸƒ Saucony Excursion Trail Running Shadow: The Ideal Men's Athletic Shoes by Jason Bollinger

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The insole slides backwards into the shoe

Tried to use this shoe for an ultra trail marathon (50km). Halfway through I switched to straight street shoes. I did some short runs in the shoes before the main event and tried to break them and every time I went over 5 or 6 miles I kept getting hot spots on my feet and couldn't figure out Why. I kept wearing them and trying to break them, thinking I'd finally made them comfortable. When I got to race day, I found that wasn't the case at all. I had to stop at every medical station to take off my shoes and put the insole back in my shoe because it kept slipping and buckling my heel. I also found the upper to be too stiff for my taste.
