My wife wanted to "upgrade" our drawer closing mechanisms in the new dressing tables. I went through all the reviews and was a bit hesitant as there were more negative reviews and complaints than usual. Bad news keeps getting louder, but I went for this one, there are actually 12 pairs. They worked. Screws were plentiful. No missing parts/broken parts. The box of 12 was very heavy, so heavy that FedEx crushed it pretty well, but the inside wasn't damaged. My drawers were probably too thin, but I found a solution. The absolute best recommendation is to watch a YouTube video of someone installing them and seeing how they matched the drawers to the locking mechanism. . The lower part of the back panel had to be filed on both sides with a jigsaw so that it was flush with the bottom of the box so the mechanics would sit right on the edge. I found that the plastic bracket that attaches the back of the slide to the back of the cabinet was impossible to align with the holes drilled 23 inches deep in the closet's narrow, dark space. I cut off the bottom dowel pin so I only had to deal with a plastic pin that goes in a hole. Watch a YouTube video, get creative and get your lights ready. Watch the video on YouTube.
