Be careful with the dryer

I ordered several of these mattresses and even double bagged them when the kids came into my room and I was under 100 years old. % are sure they are potty trained or in some other situation (and they thought I might embarrass them if I asked them). I haven't personally had the experience to confirm that they are waterproof but I have relied on them and so far so good. The only limitation is washing/drying. If you wash with towels, which wring out the water better, but if your dryer is really hot and the waterproof side somehow makes contact with the hot surface of your dryer, it can fry the material a little, and who knows what will happen then. ? I did that to a couple of them and just swapped them out fearing I might destroy the waterproof component. So now I wash them with towels and hang them up to dry.

Pros
  • Made in the USA or Imported
Cons
  • Big and bulky
