Used for an aquarium with some live plants as it was the same size and number of LEDs as a similar sea bottom light (which I paid almost twice as much for) . I ordered 2 more because this light is great for growing freshwater plants in my 30 gallon tank and keeps my guppy and shrimp fry looking great. Flipping the legs and a dab of superglue to hold them in place is a small price to pay for the same board with a larger selection of LEDs. The plaques even have the same inscriptions. To update. Got 2 new Koval 24-30" LED strips. They are different from the first ones I ordered. The power cords are now waterproof, the power supply is a bit bigger and the circuit board is more like my old Marineland. They are too .LIGHTER than my original Koval and my old Marineland which it replaced.Not just a little but a lot.I'll give it a few weeks and report back if anything changes.4 out of 5 will change to 5 out of 5 soon .
