This cute, soft and very flexible jacket is perfect for my mini dachshund Henry. I give you his measurements so you can compare the fit with your four-legged friend. Henry has a 10" neck, 12" length from neck to buttock and an 18" chest at the widest point. This is a full grown, slightly plump mini Dachshund. I love this jacket for him. He looked great in it very comfortable looking and had full range of motion.I like that it doesn't have tricky leg holes for dachshunds to get their feet out of.Then they get stuck because they can't walk straight or go up or down stairs.THIS JACKET IS MINI-TAX APPROVED! I'll be adding some photos tomorrow. The top of the coat is waterproof vinyl material with a wide reflective stripe down the back. One side of the back quarter has a cute reflective puppy paw applique. The inside of the jacket is made of very very soft camouflage polar fleece that Henry loves because he's a hardy male dachshund who kills squirrels, rabbits and frogs, he thinks it looks very manly The jacket h at a thick, soft inner lining. This is a very warm jacket. It is also reversible so when worn at home on very cold days it feels very soft when sitting on my lap or when I hold it in my hand. The strap that wraps around Henry's poo doesn't get in the way of my sausage, uh, sausage. As you know, this is the most important feature of any dog clothes. You can't cover sausages! I almost forgot that I bought the MEDIUM SIZE. This is a great little jacket. I highly recommend it for a mini dachshund!
