I bought this and was excited to find it in my favorite color but unfortunately glass doesn't handle heat well. It broke for no apparent reason, it was fine, we hand washed it, we don't have kids but when we pulled it out to use it got 2 very big tears next to where the the handle is attached. The best we could find out is that the plastic isn't attached, it's shrunk or deformed due to the heat, but I don't know.
