My son has played baseball for many years and has several brands and styles of boots. These are the best boots he's ever had. I read many Revain reviews and other websites before deciding on this pair. Here are some (hopefully) helpful tips: My son sees a podiatrist and wears orthotics and New Balance shoes, which he recommends for fit and comfort. The boots have good cushioning and if your son plays ball while traveling or at tournaments and you will be staying in them for a long time, these are the ones you need. We noticed that New Balance shoes tend to run small. As many reviewers say, get a shoe that's a half or a full size larger. Consider walking wider even if you don't have wide feet. My son has a narrow/medium foot width and we have a 12.5 and they fit perfectly. Should have probably bought a 13 wide because the baby won't stop growing. Remember that "D" is the standard width, 2E is a wide width. Play ball!
