I really like the theoretical design of this grip. I've used the UnGrip phone grip before and my biggest concern has been how thick it makes the phone. Good is good: This grip is much thinner and flatter, which is great. I really like that the back sticks to the magnetic car mount, it's great. I didn't think I would use a kickstand, but it's actually a really great feature that I use all the time. And if for some reason you don't need the stand, it's easy to remove. Finally, the adhesive backing is pretty durable as far as I can tell. Just make sure to wipe the phone/case with alcohol before putting it on. Now for the bad: my two main complaints are that the hinge broke after only 1 week of use, and the hinge material itself. The material of the loop is flimsy. and not very practical (especially not compared to UnGrip), but not particularly uncomfortable either. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but the thread on the edges of the tape is a bit thicker than the rest of the tape, so you can feel it when you slide your finger in or out (it's almost like a ridge on it something you just cut out) It makes it a bit clunky to slip your finger through the loop occasionally. Another small disadvantage: only one adhesive pad is supplied. So if you get a new case or something, you're out of luck. Overall I like the product for the most part but mine didn't last long before breaking. This doesn't seem to be a problem for many of the people who left reviews. So if you're willing to take the risk, it might be worth it. This is truly a multifunctional phone pen, especially for only $8.
