I am very happy! for camera lenses

For a used lens it was very profitable. A little heavy, but you get used to it. I used this lens for Fancon cosplay photography. This is really fast glass and the images are beautiful. I had some lens creaking which doesn't bother me considering the lens I received is about 10 years old but the previous owner took good care of it. There are some signs of wear, especially on the lens hood, but the lens is fully functional. The felt lined hard shell box looks great! I would not use this lens as a general purpose point and shoot lens. This is the lens you would use if you knew exactly what you were shooting, especially if you were leaving it on all day. It's a BIG lens, so I'd rather wear it around my neck at chest level than have it dangling from my waist with my black quick release strap and risk bumping it (not that the lens can't handle it - this thing was made for field work, but I don't want to nudge people or knock things over when I'm in a tight space or crowd). The best uses for this lens would be: landscape, nature, portraits, low light, close-up sports and travel photography. I wouldn't use this lens for street photography because it stands out. Discretion is not an option here - you WILL be noticed. But in the end this is a great versatile lens that you can take anywhere and it will do the job!
