Review on Nilight 10003W 14ft Car Charger Extension Cord Cable | Heavy Duty 12V/24V with Cigarette Lighter Socket | 2-Year Warranty by Greg Boulden

I purchased this cable to power a portable (for shallow towing) auxiliary braking system that required an extension cable to plug into the 12v socket in my Jeep's console. The braking system shows a maximum current consumption of 8 amps, but this cable can not support the controller not working. With all the positive feedback about using it for air compressors etc I figured it was a heavy load (e.g. 15A). I cut off the end to check the caliber and it appears to be around 20AWG. No way is this hard work likely to be for phone chargers, that's all.
