
These bits are well made, thread pitch and dimensions are good. I don't remove the star, but I do need to stamp the diameter of the wire used. If you're confusing them with other tip hole diameters, you'll need a gauge to figure out what they are. The more expensive Miller tips have this so you get a discount and you need to keep the tips in a box with the appropriate wire size. I ended up coloring the tips so I can see their size right away. Still good advice
