This was exactly the pump I needed for my application. The quality looks very good. It comes with a waterproof splice kit! (Observe the instructions and close with a rubber band) Not listed in the description! The wires were long, properly stripped and soldered into the pump motor. I added a 3rd wire (green) for ground and coiled it with a #12 twin lead The pump is working properly and delivering the advertised amount of water. My well is ok. 100 feet deep and pumps down about 50 feet. Submerge 20-25 feet in the water. I used a 1 1/4" to 1" stainless steel adapter, 1" polypropylene tubing (heat the poly with a heat gun) and 3 US stainless steel clamps top and bottom. I've only had it for a few months! My first and single pump has lasted over 35 years. The secret to pump longevity is to keep the backflow check valve and pressure switch collector in top condition. Do not use the pump with the required controller! Controllers fall due to corrosion, component failure and Lightning strikes off. I don't use well water during thunderstorms. When the pump reaches cut-off pressure, all power is cut off by the pressure switch, saving the pump in the event of a lightning strike. So far, good! TIME WILL TELL!
