Honestly I thought it was great. I bought lamps to illuminate the stairs leading to the front door. Enough light to see the stairs, easy to use and solar powered. It even has 10 different modes of operation. Unfortunately, it doesn't remember the last mode it was set to. Hence the low rating. The constant light mode is great for stairs, but reverts to demo mode every night as it cycles through each mode. I can only tell you how dizzy it can be for someone trying to get down the stairs with the lights flashing. Every night I have to reset it. This is really annoying and makes it useless for this purpose.
