When I opened the box I was afraid these lights would not impress me. But they did not disappoint us! We've been using it for over 2 weeks. Our solar panels are placed partially in the sunlight and the lights stayed on the entire time we used them (we didn't have to leave them on for up to 2.5 hours). I have already ordered more for other places.

I used 4 sets to thread the pattern I have on the wall behind the pool for the jasmine vine. They are very easy to mold into any desired shape and hold up very well. There are multiple settings for how fast/slow and what pattern they should blink. or just leave them on all the time. If you leave the light on, it will turn on automatically at dusk each day and use the last settings you turned on. Batteries last about 6-8 hours before dying overnight.

I bought these lights and immediately bought two more. I don't understand why everyone was complaining about how confused the lights are! I managed to wrap them around my decking right out of the packet without unwinding the full length of the lanterns. Looking at the packaging, two ends can be seen; one ends with a solar panel and the other ends with copper wiring. Unwind the copper wire a bit and then wrap it around whatever you want to decorate. Honestly I thought it was great. I bought lamps to illuminate the stairs leading to the front door. Enough light to see the stairs, easy to use and solar powered. It even has 10 different modes of operation. Unfortunately, it doesn't remember the last mode it was set to. Hence the low rating. Used to decorate the bars of my backyard shed. In total it took four strands and a lot of effort to wrap the wire. With the tarp hugging the crossbars, it was an utter pain. I just wish I had them before I put the top on. You also had to be careful where the solar panel would end up as only 2 sides of the gazebo get full sun. I love these lights but I still don't like them. They work as they should, last all night and are warm white which is exactly what I wanted. BUT, and it's important to me, maybe not to you, the feature returns to the rotating light show every night they come; disappears then flashes then works, you get the idea. I've had several solar "illuminators" but they were terrible in comparison and none of them are still in use. We will buy more of these. WARNING. If you are considering using AMIR 100 and 200 strings at the same time, remember that 200-unit LED strings are about HALF the brightness of 100-unit LED strings. A 200 count is just 2 strings of 100 counts joined together (and one of the joints broke and I had to fix it myself).
