I bought these lights and immediately bought two more. I don't understand why everyone was complaining about how confused the lights are! I managed to wrap them around my decking right out of the packet without unwinding the full length of the lanterns. Looking at the packaging, two ends can be seen; one ends with a solar panel and the other ends with copper wiring. Unwind the copper wire a bit and then wrap it around whatever you want to decorate. Then repeat until finished. Light! I just wish I had one big light stand instead of three.
