After reading several posts.

I purchased the posts but haven't installed them yet.But after reading posts stating that they snapped/bent, I went ahead and purchased 3.0" Stainless Steel Butt Joint Exhaust Seal Band Clamps for the threaded seams they fit perfect over the post and base.will update when I complete the project.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077TBQNN1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1(UPDATE) 6/20/22I finally got around on installing my Sun Sail and Posts, for starters, the Sun Sail held up to 50 mile hour winds but, the Posts didn't, not even with the brackets I installed the pos posts snapped at the thread close to the base, going to my local welder to see if they can just weld the entire post together to the base.I would not purchase the posts ever again, next time just buy Lalley Columns and bury them in the footing while cement is wet.

what a huge mistake was buying these posts especially for the price they're selling them for.

Pros
  • Very durable and strong. Exactly what I needed for my sail shade!!
Cons
  • It was an easy set up, but when we attached the sail to it, the pole bent and is now unusable.
