I have found that the best method of applying the screen protector is to tilt the iPad at an angle, align the corners and top of the screen protector with the iPad, and then gently release the screen protector to remove any residue . The rest of the assembly was immediate. It's a bit disappointing that you can't rotate it to portrait to free your hands, but they didn't say so, so I can't complain. In general I am satisfied.
