Edit: I've tried using them for several months - each time it was very tiring unscrewing the caps. Eventually they all got completely stuck. Only a very laborious effort with hot water was able to clean them. In the future I will unscrew the entire lid and not use the lid/shaker functions at all. Unfortunately it was a waste of money... 0 stars :( I so wish you like them - they look great but don't work well with granular or powdered condiments (like granulated or powdered onion/garlic). Lid which will make it tricky or even impossible to turn them after a few days.
