End edit*** This solid state drive (SSD) is physically 1/4 the size of my other "regular" external hard drive! And also. This is the actual size shown. 1TB I tested it with a test program even before I put the first bit of data into it. I bought it with many doubts. 1TB of storage on something the size of 2 flash drives. The last time I tried something like this it was a big failure. However, that was 2 or 3 years ago. This little thing is AWESOME! :D. That's all he pretends to be. Like other reviewers, I noticed that it gets quite warm during data transfer. And the writing speed slows down a bit when transferring really big files. However, I use it as a "backup" drive to take with me in my travel bag. I have already transferred everything to it, only the "new" data remain. It's very fast if you only work with 1 or 2 files at a time. I'm phasing out my old little flash drives. With this 1TB SSD I don't have to carry as many devices around to store all my stuff. I'm less likely to lose this than a flash drive. Also, it is much faster when accessing data on the hard drive. My only complaint is that 1TB is the largest capacity available. I have quite a few porters and this one is almost full. If my media wasn't compressed, I would have problems. Again, 2 of these take up much less space than a standard hard drive. I'm sure I'll buy another one when I run out of space on this one. ***For those who believe the reviews on this site may be fake.
