If you're buying this phone as a replacement, here's a warning. If your phone system has the maximum number of 'registered' handsets, you may need to 'deregister' one of them, or your phone and base station will not be able to 'register' a new replacement handset because it is fully charged with the number of handsets it can register as it can happened to me Even if the replacement handset is lost or destroyed, it remains registered. I have a KX-TGE275S system and was unable to register this replacement on my device even though it was the same as my other phones. It was useless. After going into the manual and menu and "deregistering" the broken phone, this replacement registered right away and my system restored up to 6 phones which I really need.
