If you're buying this phone as a replacement, here's a warning. If your phone system has the maximum number of 'registered' handsets, you may need to 'deregister' one of them, or your phone and base station will not be able to 'register' a new replacement handset because it is fully charged with the number of handsets it can register as it can happened to me Even if the replacement handset is lost or destroyed, it remains registered. I bought this kit to replace an outdated Panasonic phone that was having problems. I am somewhat hard of hearing, even with hearing aids.
