Versatility and functionality

They work fine. The rubber grommet is suitable for a small number of bottle holes. Wine bottles work best, especially dessert wine bottles due to their elegant shape. I've used several other bottles, from empty salad dressing bottles to used ketchup bottles. The largest hole I've used that still fits snugly is probably 3/4" in diameter (measured inside wall to inside wall), it was a soy sauce bottle. It's good to know that you can pick any empty bottle you like and have a functional dispenser for a constant flow of oil.So far I've only used olive oil - it comes out in a steady stream (not too fast and not too slow) and the airflow tube does a great job of getting the 'glug' effect through the to prevent backflow of bubbles. The hinge closes automatically by gravity, which also quickly stops the flow to minimize dripping down the sides of the bottle. Sometimes, not often, a little olive oil drips out of the spout. Never mind. I Really like how I can just pour without opening the lid Pour it - perfect!

Pros
  • The contents of the bottle and the dispenser stay clean thanks to the hinged lid.
Cons
