I ordered 2 of these. I have 2 C7 outdoor LED strings. A 220 all red pears. The other 220 are all green pears. I connected them so that every 6 inches is a red bulb, then a green, then a red, and so on. I put a controller in each row. I found a few settings I could live with. Both fuses blew within 10 minutes. There are no additional fuses, although the advertisement says so. They are designed with 400 watts each. My LEDs are basically watts each. So what happened? Apparently the lamps and capacitors each have a load of about 2 watts on the line, even though the lamp only draws 1 watt. Cannot find fuses of this size. I haven't crossed the border much. And since my outdoor application was without risk of damage other than the cheapest controller, I used short lengths of twisted copper wire instead of fuses. During normal operation, the controller does not overheat. If I could find them I would use a 5 or 6 amp fuse. Cheap and efficient dimmer.
