Review on Professional Stainless Cleaver Ergonomic Handle by Adam Taylor

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor Quality Handle Material

You get what you pay for, this definitely goes for Knife I should have been fed up with the price but all the reviews were positive so I bought this one. I've been working in professional kitchens for 20 years, so I have a clear idea of quality cutlery. I have dozens of knives and spent over $150 on individual knives, but was looking for a decent HOME knife and I took the risk of only using it to chop chicken bones every few months. Pros: Good quality steel, hard but not brittle Generally heavy enough for butchering poultry and hard squashes Cons: Handle is too narrow to hold tight, causing the knife to rotate in my hand Handles began to loosen, almost as soon as I started using it too as seen in the pictures) something I discovered when they broke. I had to replace it today so I could finish my project. For information, contact Dexter for cleavers. Yes, they're three times the price, but they last a lifetime.
