As mentioned in other reviews, overall it's a bit pricey. It takes a lot of time and understanding to get started. You will need to download and install DiverLog, then install the USB cable/driver and finally configure the DiverLog Add Computer application to sync/handshake with the PDC. In my case I have an Oceanic ProPlus 3 and this cable/configuration worked great. There are other alternatives (DiveNav DCbuddy) which are just as expensive but instead of a USB connection (ie PC/Laptop only) the cable connects to a bluetooth transmitter and you can then connect to any device (smartphone, tablet, connect computer) , laptop) via the Bluetooth function. When using DiverLog you can send/sync your data/dive logs to all other devices, making your information easily accessible almost anywhere you have an internet connection. Oceanic is an expensive brand, but you get what you pay for. Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it.
