The remote control does what it is supposed to do, sends a signal to the camera to take a picture. HOWEVER, you must point at the camera to activate it, and it will click before you can return your hand. I see my hand pointing at the camera in all my photos. I can't set it on a timer. Some reviews indicated that it should be installed in the camera. I am using the new Canon T4i and cannot find such features. There is no timer on the remote control itself! Very disappointed with the product. It goes straight into the trash as I won't be wasting any space in my camera bag. CONCLUSION, DO NOT BUY. Just use the camera's built-in timer mode, which allows up to 10 seconds.
