I came across this solar panel because I've been very interested in getting one, I love being outside so I had to try itSo you know at first I was comparing it to othersOthers had more panels which is great but what drew me into this one is that you can zip up the solar panels so nothing is able to scratch em or anythingI loved how the USB port on it has a little seal on it so when you aren't using it you can plug it upOne of the parts that I enjoyed the most was again the zipper , where the USB is at you can store charger cables , external batteries anything you can fitBecause it has a zipperI've been using from the very first day I got itIt has honestly surpassed my expectation completelyIt's best connect to an external batteryYou try to connect your phone to charge to it directlyIt'll charge but in my case if there wasn't enough sun it might not charge your phone like it did to mineSo I've been charging my external battery with the solar panels for 5 hours every day , I'll use the external better to charge my phone ( iPhone 5)It's seems that 5 hoursAllows enough storage to charge my phone from 0-100 ,on average it's been doing thatWith all that being said my iPhone 5 battery capacity is 1440 MahMy external battery has a capacity of 4200 Mah (that's what is advertisedIn saying all the the sun is a key factorOn the days I've tested it the sun was out for most of those 5 hoursIt's a great product ,try itNew update ,I had it outside charging my back up battery about 2 weeks ago ,and it had rained for 20 minutes before I noticed I left it outside.So i go outside dreading that they wouldn't work or something .Im not sure if this product is water proof or water resistant ,but its safe to say that from my experience it can handle some amount of water because mine IS still working ,its given me NO problemsI Love it
