I am so glad I bought this cutting board. I had that empty slot in my cupboard and had no idea they even sold replacements. I have had several types of cutting boards but got tired of either leaving them on the counter or stuffing them into a cupboard and having to dig it out every time I wanted to use it. Then I saw this one. I read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. My actual opening was 16" wide. Since the size of the cutting board was 16" I was worried that it might be too tight to fit. It fit perfectly so buy your opening size size. The board was packaged nicely and I love being able to just pull it out and use it and being able to have its own place.where it belongs. One of my favorite purchases.
