I bought bits to drill out a broken EasyOut. I had doubts but I bought the product and tried it. I usually drill hard steel with small bits and work up to large sizes. I started with 5mm which quickly cut off the carbide tip. The next was 6mm and detached some metal from the EasyOut but broke very quickly. At this point I settled on 9mm and went with it. To my amazement, the bat went through the EasyOut like a hot knife through butter! I have requested a replacement for the broken bits as I believe they were defective due to the performance of the larger one though. I have used a magnetic drill and would recommend it to anyone with a broken EasyOut or faucet. The other options are almost three times the price of one, but this one has the full bit set.
