Best protects our dogs with zip ties
We have a chain link fence to enclose our garden to allow our dogs to run free. One of them tripped over one of the screws and badly injured his face. He recovered well, but we had to prevent something like this from happening again. I put nylon nuts on the ends of all the bolts low enough to reach and that completely solved the problem. Black should resist sunlight better than natural and be less noticeable.
