The monitor works well at times, but there are two main issues: - The backlight is poor at times. This currently only happens in Dolby HDR. Sometimes the right half is dark. Otherwise the left half is dark. The halves aren't quite out, but it looks like there's some sort of halo or memory effect. The image I captured showing the half white/half gray content is a 100% white video rendition. Please note that the gray color on the screen is not a reflection. This is what the video looks like on the screen. The screen has a cooling system consisting of one or more noisy fans. When triggered, the device becomes frighteningly loud. Much louder than a modern workstation. I will return this device.
