I needed this cutter to install SWIM in my RV. DirecTV insisted that I had bad cables and needed a specialist, trying to explain to them that that wasn't the problem. Needless to say I was right and DirecTV was wrong and I had to buy this unit to restore my system after replacing my non-SWIM system with this one.
