Fun, smooth and fast!
Great roller skates! My 8 year old daughter got girls roller skates for Christmas so I ordered one too. I haven't owned roller skates or ridden them in 20 years, but it's like riding a bike. Our local park has 1.5 miles of oval skates. 4 laps yesterday, 6 laps today. Great alternative to my usual cycling. I can easily see that I'm using muscles that cycling doesn't use. The same burning sensation as after a day of telemark skiing. These skates move easily at speeds of 15-20 miles per hour I would guess. Here's what I always look for in shoe/clothing reviews: FIT - I wear standard width shoes for all types of shoes. My street shoe size is 10 x 10.5. Mostly 10.5 After a thorough study of customer reviews I settled on size 11. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I wear standard gauge cotton sports socks and they are perfect.
