Review on 🔦 Enhance Visibility with JDM ASTAR 144-EX Chipsets 5202 5201 LED Fog Light Bulbs: Brilliant White Illumination with Projector by Brian Edwards

Bulb light is very white and provides more 'local' light but doesn't project forward as well as I was hoping. Still a significant improvement over the stock bulbs. My 2007 Suburban uses "Type 1" light bulbs. These JDM ASTAR bulbs cost about the same as genuine parts. Difficulty installing is the reason I deducted a star. The plastic base of the JDM ASTAR lamp is more flexible than the base of the original lamp. The spring-loaded part that was supposed to hold the lamp in place barely entered the socket. In addition, the piston has an O-ring to seal water out of the housing after installation. This made it impossible to install the bulb under the truck with the headlight housing mounted. The case had to be taken off the truck (pretty easy to do) so I could struggle with fitting a new bulb into the old case. (My truck model is 2007). Eventually I used a drop of liquid detergent to lubricate the o-ring and was able to install the bulb in place. What should have been a 10-minute project spanned nearly an hour of fiddling with latches and installing lightbulbs.
