I use this in class. It's not the best of the best, but for the price it will work. The suction cups are pretty much useless and since it's so light you really have to hold it when you put pencils in it. I had a heavy duty sharpener that eventually died and I could actually tell the difference in weight when it arrived. I've had it for 2 months now with no problems but I'm not sure it will last 10 years like my old sharpener. One thing to do to prolong the life of your pencil sharpener (if you're a teacher) is to never let children use it. I know it sounds crazy but I'm willing to use my time to sharpen my pencils every week instead of burning my engine in 2 weeks.
