This product doesn't work as well as the advert that led me to order it. First, there is a wrong way to use it that doesn't work at all. Since there were no instructions, I naturally abused it because it seemed more intuitive. You need to use it at a slight angle with small holes on the back end as I found looking through the video. Even back then, with ice-cold butter, it wasn't easy. And cutting the cold butter into threads just made it a little easier to spread on my toast. I blew my toast anyway so it was easier to spread. At the same time, it's a good wide knife for spreading mayonnaise, mustard, etc. For that, it's better than a regular butter knife. This is well made, sturdy stainless steel that should last a lifetime. I give him 3 stars. 4 stars for the sandwich cutter and 2 for the new butter tool.
