The dealer will try to tell you that you need to replace the entire link (I've been quoted over $800) or they will try to charge $100+ for just the bushings. On a 2006 PT Cruiser I was able to do it myself with a few basic tools and after watching a few YouTube videos. Now this kit comes in 3 parts, one with a screw and a plastic part under the shifter (I don't think I've tried it yet), and a large bushing and a small bushing. Note that the holes are different sizes on each side as there is a lip that snaps in place and prevents the bushings from slipping off. I was able to slide the smaller jack into place with just my fingers. The larger one was needed by an old screwdriver that was slightly blunted so as not to cut the rubber. The lip snapped back into place with no problems. I've popped the question to a few other buyers and some have commented that they bought some clamps to hold the sockets in place, which probably won't be needed unless they're upside down. I asked the dealer to install mine upside down and when they slipped off they told me $800 for the whole connection and here we are. There are some other aftermarket bushings that come with clamps. If these don't hold up, I might try them.
