I'm a little novice knitter. I bought bamboo, plastic, stainless steel and then I found these. I really liked this at first. The needles go into the seams easily and the coating holds the seams well. No more slipping without my understanding. So I was in love and started buying more sizes. After a few weeks of use, they begin to take hold. I can't see well enough to understand why. If it is a metal point that detaches from the coated part. I don't really know, but it pisses me off being stuck in a scam. At first I thought there must be something sticky on my needles, but it wasn't. I don't think I'll be buying more of this although I think it's a good concept but something needs to change. I hope so because they've been great for me. I use dpn a lot.
