A very interesting lens. From an artistic point of view, it is beautiful, the picture is simply magical. From a technical point of view I didn’t understand why he needed a stub. It would be better if, instead of a stub, they thought out the design in such a way that the focusing distance did not change the aperture. Well, the price, to pay for something that is always "off" - I see no reason. Provided that the MDF is reached, the hole closes to f / 4.5, okay, the cameras are now with high probes, on this scale you still need to make out in VI! But this is all, of course, prose compared to the picture obtained with this glass. By the way, it works well as a portrait lens, which is due to the convenient full-frame FR. Paired with the d800, you get a non-sour stock for crop and zoom. Fine glass with virtually no surprises.
