I was looking for lava soap for the kitchen to remove dirt and sap from our pine trees. We didn't have hands, but didn't want a soap dish on the counter, and the cost of the liquid version of the Lava soap was ridiculously high. I recently bought a glass jar with a shaker lid from Cost Plus to put soap in as I'm concerned the metal base of the jar will get wet and leave a rust stain on the countertop and the jar is heavy cardboard and wet hands can ruin it and wet soap get inside and make it clump. You can just order something like this or a vintage Revain sugar shaker when you order this. Highly recommend if you need something to remove stubborn dirt or grease from your hands at a reasonable price.
