My old beloved yoga bag could fit a lot of things in it, but stupid me, I washed it and dried it in the dryer and it SHRANK! It was made of cotton. This one. it's not going to shrink. It's going to last for years. It holds more than my old yoga bag. Eventually I might come to love it as much as the old one. For now, I just like it a lot. The materials its made of seem durable: the outer fabric feels like heavy canvas, and it has an inner lining fabric that is sort of polyester. The zip goes from one end to the other, but there's only one zipper pull. The strap is sewn at one end and has a plastic snap at the other end and is adjustable. Personally I really like to carry my yoga mat bag across my back so I don't whack into people or catch the door going through doorways. I carry my mat, a large block, a towel and a whole bunch of resistance bands, and I could fit a really big water bottle in there if I wanted to. It's a good bag for a very good price.
