Beautiful pastel colors and buttery soft texture

I first got a 72 color set from the Mungyo gallery and thought I needed more pastel/light colors. Pastel drawings for personal enjoyment, so I decided to give Paul Rubens a try. 1. Texture: buttery and soft. The texture is buttery and smoother than mungyo. compared to Mungio. 2nd layers: opaque. They lay on thickly as if impasto, while the mungyo layers are thinner and blend better with the underlying colors than would be the case with a coating. I love the thickness that Paul Rubens gives and they give you more vibrant colors even when layered. What you need to do with each step I would alternate mungyo and this. 3. They are consumed much faster than more complex ones: smoother texture. But for the affordable price and high quality I'm not complaining :) 4. Comes with 3 titanium whites Overall I highly recommend this if you are just starting out with oil pastels. Applications, take Paul Rubens. If you like less oily, drier and more liquid applications, choose Mungyo. Best to have both as they have different colors and textures :)
