I think any complaints I have at the moment are entirely due to my lack of experience or simply user error. They are definitely smooth and go down very well and are a joy to use.

This set of oil pastels is very good for me. Most of them are very creamy and some are greasy and sticky. That's cool. Because once you draw hard or press hard, you get great strokes on paper. Love it!

So you have 36 colors and 3 titanium white. only 39. They are VERY PIGMENTED. I can't explain it but they are so much better than Mungyo and Pentel oil pastels. They leave no crumbs. I think they need to be stored in a cool place so they don't dry out and crumble. My munggios are really creamy but still crumble, but these aren't. Pentels leave crumbs and are rock hard. I first got a 72 color set from the Mungyo gallery and thought I needed more pastel/light colors. Pastel drawings for personal enjoyment, so I decided to give Paul Rubens a try. 1.
