I had pierced ears and had them repaired about 10 years ago. I recently decided to re-pierce her and wanted to do it myself. They came with a small spring loaded thing that you need to line up with your ear and press down to push the earring through. I didn't use it as I wasn't sure if it would actually go through the original ear hole. So I just pushed the earrings in by hand. They were ok but I didn't know how long the posts would be on them. They slid forward over my ear and looked a bit odd as they felt a bit too big for my ears. But they did the job I needed them for so I'm happy with the purchase.
