Review on 🚗 Civic Hood Release Latch Handle Repair Replacement for CR-V, Element, and Ridgeline - 1997 to 2014 Models by Pete Brown

This is a fantastic replacement grip for my daughter's CRV. I thought it might be difficult, but it really isn't. First remove the kick plate, it will pop out. I then used a pair of needle vises to fully hold the exposed cable. Then I cut off the rest of the handle with wire cutters. Remember that the original handle is not threaded onto the pull rope, it is simply wedged. The new handle snapped directly into place and the two Allen screws were tightened. Hood lock works again!
