This is my first time embroidering and this kit is the perfect start! I love crafts, but I often get frustrated when I don't quite get it. This embroidery kit is easy to understand for beginners and beautiful, leaving you feeling complete when you're done. I appreciate that the pattern illustration is well labeled and includes illustrations of each stitch. The embroidery project will teach you 6 pretty basic stitches that will give you a good foundation for embroidery and boost your confidence. For each stitch I watched a video to figure it out. After that everything was pretty easy. The thread is good quality and I had an extra one when I was done. I have attached a photo of my filament open and after the project is complete for comparison. The embroidery frame is fine. It stayed secure while I worked, but I had some issues with my canvas not staying taut after hours of work. The canvas is of good quality but I would like a different color. Some of the darker colors didn't contrast well and blended in with it. The project took about 3-4 days. I train several hours a day. This is a project small enough that you can finish it before you feel like it's burned out. That makes it perfect for beginners! Overall I like this kit. It has everything you need and is perfect for beginners. It has detailed instructions and is easy enough for a beginner. The finished project looks very nice. If I decide to show it, I'll probably get a prettier tire. But at this price you can't beat this kit! Highly recommended!
