Received my string and it worked fine upon delivery. Still good after hanging up. Nothing happened after tying up the slack with zip ties - only the first two bulbs after the controller worked. I was very gentle with him. A little troubleshooting with my multimeter revealed that the wire was physically broken at the ground wire between LEDs 2 and 3. My guess is that on one of the connectors there was a bad contact in the sealed boot that had completely separated from the slight tension. The last thing I could think of could break. I was not thrilled. I contacted the seller and received a quick email from Chris just a few hours after my delay on Sunday. After a quick exchange, Chris sent me a brand new string of lights almost immediately. It arrived from Kentucky the following Thursday (can't remember exactly but somewhere in the east) and I immediately got to work. The lights look pretty cute and work as advertised. I'd rather not hang the fixings twice, but I now have plenty of spares to support my setup as a consolation prize. Sometimes things just don't work, but good customer support makes all the difference.
