Review on 📷 Sony SAL-24F20Z 24mm f/2.0 A-mount Wide Angle Lens: High-Quality Imaging with Crisp Detail and Wide Perspective by James Collins

I wasn't expecting as much as I got from this lens. I used a Nikon 24mm film camera in the 80's and never really understood its length. When I bought this lens, I pre-purchased it to see if I would have the same difficulties as I would with a Nikon 24mm (24mm f/cm) lens. /2.8) I used to have. From the very first photoshoot with Sony Zeiss I was just stunned. After my first 100 or so shots with this lens, I've come to the conclusion that this is my favorite lens of all time. Ever, and I've had Pentax FA Limited, Canon L, Voigtlander SL, Contax G Zeiss and Nikon. The optical quality is immediately noticeable. The color rendering and the motif are just great. The way he "paints" is magical. All the usual shortcomings of optical lenses are well mastered with this lens. This lens is so good it looks like you're cheating a little with the resulting goalies. Build quality and autofocus are excellent on my A850 full-frame camera. The petal-shaped plastic aperture is surprisingly cheap for a Zeiss lens, but it works well. This is lens magic in the best sense of the Zeiss lens tradition.
